Scotland coach Steve Clarke has resigned following his team's disappointing performance in the World Cup group stage.
The Scottish Football Association (FA) announced Clarke's dismissal after Song's 3-1 win over Croatia on Saturday. This match is Scotland's last hope of World Cup survival.
BBC Scotland reported that members of the squad were told on Saturday that Clarke and the squad were still staying at their camp in Charlotte.
He re-signed for four years less than a month ago.
A 1-0 win over Haiti in their Group C opener, followed by 1-0 defeats to Morocco and 3-0 defeats to Brazil — all three games saw Clarke's tactics questionable.

It was a very disappointing performance at the World Cup for Scotland.
Clarke said of the resignation, "The most emotional thing for me is my players. They have made all the memories we have from 2019 till now.
"They deserve all the praise and glory. It was a real honor for me to be called their gaffer. Thanks to them and good luck to whoever succeeds me."
Clarke was appointed Scotland head coach in 2016.
Scotland have not entered a major tournament since 1998. Under Clarke's leadership, Scotland qualified for both Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
But Scotland's performance at World Cup 2024 was more disappointing.
