There have been reports of interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs in Japanese midfielder Kaishu Sano from German club Mainz. Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are watching this player. Sano's popularity has increased further by playing for Japan in the 2026 World Cup. Apart from scoring goals against Spain and Costa Rica in the group stage of the World Cup, he also grabbed everyone's attention with his excellent performance against Brazil in the knockout stage. He played in 34 matches in the Bundesliga last season. After joining Mainz from Kashima Antlers in 2024, he quickly made his way into Mainz's starting XI. Sano's contract with Mainz runs until 2028. For this reason, the club will want to be in a positive position with regard to any proposal. According to German media reports, Mainz will agree to release Sano if they receive an offer of 50 to 60 million euros.
