German club RB Leipzig have decided to fire their coach Ole Werner. Werner brought the club back into European football last season, but the club cited the fact that he was looking to the future as the reason for his sacking.
"We analyzed the season. Ole did a great job, we qualified for the Champions League, but we also have to look to the future," Leipzig's head of football Jurgen Klopp told a news outlet.
He also said that if it is not possible to work with Werner in the coming days, the club will look at a new coach. As the new coach of the club, the name of Argentine Martin Demichelis, who was appointed from Olympique Lyonnais to Mallorca, has come forward. Demichelis is in talks to sign a contract until 2028.
