Dutch club NEC Nijmegen forward Youssef El Kachaty is moving to French league club Stade Reims. According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, the 26-year-old is in final negotiations to leave the NEC.
The striker, who joined NEC on a free transfer from TELSTAR last year, played 19 matches last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists. However, the NEC coach was not keen on playing him regularly, which made him the team's third or fourth option.

Now it is heard that NEC no longer wants to keep him, as they have already brought in a striker like Ranjan Dey. As a result, El Cachati is now set to join a club in France's second division, with Stade Reims interested in him.
With Stade Reims finishing 6th in France's first division last season, they will definitely want to move up to the first division next season.
Stade Reims will spend around 2 million euros to sign El Cachaty.
