Liverpool have rejected a verbal offer of 25 million euros (£21.7m) for Inter Milan's Curtis Jones. The offer was well below Liverpool's £35m valuation for Jones and they are unwilling to sanction a cut-price transfer for the midfielder. Jones, 25, currently has a year remaining on his contract at Anfield and is Inter Milan's second offer this year. The Italian club were interested in his availability in January and wanted to sign him on a loan deal, but that too was rejected by Liverpool. This month, Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio said: "Curtis Jones - we're keeping an eye on him. We're not hiding. We understand how things will go." Federico Chiesa told Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport that Jones wanted to know what it was like to live in Italy. Jones joined Liverpool's academy at the age of nine and signed his first professional contract with the Reds in 2018.
