When is Ruben Amorim coming? That's the question that has dogged the Rossoneri, at least since last Tuesday, when the Portuguese coach's new campaign to lead Milan was officially announced.
According to information from "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the signing of the three-year contract was completed online and the former coach of Manchester United, misleading the Portuguese press, was still in Ibiza at the beginning of the week, to rest after a difficult season.
The exact date of Amorim's arrival in Milan is not yet known, but it will be the end of June or the beginning of July, i.e. in two weeks. However, the training date for Milan is already known: 12 July.
The team will show their presence in Milan that day and how their new coach will start the preparations.
According to the Gazzetta, Amorim will be joined by five colleagues who have assisted him in his previous stints in the Portuguese league and Premier League, namely:
- Carlos Fernandes (Brasaro do) - Coach's right-hand man.
- Emmanuel Ferro - Specialist in training methods.
- Adelio Candido - Practicing method expert.
- Jorge Vitale - Goalkeeper Coach.
A fifth member to join Amorim's staff, who is yet to be confirmed, is performance coach Paulo Barreira.
