Hellas Verona yesterday (July 1) confirmed Swiss midfielder Leorat Bega as their first summer transfer. The 22-year-old has been signed by the club on a 5-year deal from 2026 (June 30, 2029). Bega was signed from Swiss club Stade Nyonnais. But Bega could have come to Italy earlier. At the age of 16, he was a talent in the youth division of the Swiss national team, then playing for Servette FC. In 2019, he was considered to join Fiorentina, but in the end he did not come to Italy due to the decision of the coach of the youth team of Fiorentina at the time.
