AZ have signed defender Abdelnour Soulia from Le Puy in France. Soulia (24) is a central defender who is contracted to AZ until mid-2028, with an option until mid-2029. AZ is sending him on loan to Telstar to gain experience. Technical director Niels van Duyn said, 'We are happy that Abdelnour has put his faith in our plans. His loan to Telstar is giving him the opportunity to familiarize himself with the soccer culture of the Netherlands and gain first-hand experience in the Eredivisie. He is a player with good physical ability, we will see how he adapts to football in the Netherlands,' added Van Duyn. 'We will be monitoring his development closely, as well as how valuable he can be to AZ in the future.'
