Roma-owned 2006-born midfielder Alessandro Romano has been at the center of much talk in the transfer market. With less playing time in the capital, Romano is more likely to join a new club. A number of clubs have expressed interest in the youngster, including a one-year loan or a permanent deal. Palermo are rumored to be interested in Serie B, but Cagliari in Serie A are reported by Sky Sports to have expressed an interest in Romano. The Cagliari club are also considering attacking Alessandro Romano as an alternative to Gaetano, who Atalanta want to sign. Torino are also considering Romano as a potential player for new coach Ignazio Abate. Alessandro Romano made 2 Serie A appearances for Roma last season before being loaned out to Spiezia for 6 months in January. Romano played 19 matches in Serie B last season for Spiezia.
