Norwegian international goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen is excited about joining Women's Super League club Tottenham, saying it is a "dream" move for her. The 23-year-old goalkeeper played a key role for Bergen's SK Brann club in 2025, leading the club to their second league title. Panengstuen played in all 27 league matches that season and kept 18 clean sheets.
She made her international debut in June 2025 in a friendly against Sweden and later in September in a 1–0 Women's Champions League qualifier first leg win against Manchester United. Currently in the Norwegian season he has kept 8 clean sheets in 11 matches.
But she decided to join Tottenham to play in the Women's Super League. Panengstuen said, "It's a project that's going well. Some of my friends are here, and they've said a lot of good things about Tottenham." Coach Martin Ho said, "Selma is a goalie with tremendous potential, with the foundation of her game already strong. She has the qualities we need, such as shot-stopping skills, courage, communication, athleticism and a mindset to improve every day."
