Manchester United have questions over Rashford's future. Despite reports of a lack of interest from the club last summer, current coach Michael Carrick has had some positive comments about Rashford. But United journalist Simon Stone cannot believe Carrick's words. Simon Stone said: "Carrick has made a lot of positive comments about Rashford but I would be really surprised if Rashford plays for Man Utd again. From the information I got last summer, it looked like Rashford's United career was over." Simon Stone also said, "You say who is meant by permanent replacement, but Matthews Cunha and Mason Mount can both play in Rashford's position. Rashford doesn't like to play as a center forward. In fact, Rashford's case will soon become clear. Rashford will be in England's World Cup squad, but after the World Cup pre-season Rashford will be at whichever club he joins for sure."
